These are difficult times for many. Foreclosure and bankruptcy levels are at all-time record highs. Many people confronted with serious financial difficulty have little or no information about their rights. This site was created to help them.
The San Francisco Bay Area is among the nation's most expensive places to live. After a decade of rapid increases in property value, home-prices are decreasing and foreclosures are taking place at an alarming rate. What's more, consumers increasingly resort to borrowing to cover expenses. At some point, they reach the end of their financial rope and need to be rescued.
This site is intended as a starting point to help you assess your current situation and help you better understand your options.
There are many agencies and businesses that prey upon people in vulnerable situations and attempt to sell false hope and unneeded services. Additionally, many cannot afford to pay professionals to help them navigate through these complex issues. Hopefully, this site can help you find valuable information that will help.
